A few weeks ago I made initial contact with Duncan Elliott at Wave Recruitment. Ironically the epitome of what defines a poor recruiter is too often prolific within the 'Rec to Rec' sector, and I have seldom had to pay a supplier a fee as a result of their success. Toward the latter end of 2007 I found myself once again seeking the support of a good supplier and when I met with Duncan was naturally sceptical that the words I was hearing would not correlate to the actions and another supplier would fall way short of my expectations. It was a pleasant surprise when Duncan was able to identify someone that met the brief and the candidate was started within a month!
